manual osteopathy | Downtown Toronto Manual Osteopathy
At the[fix], manual osteopathy is a combination of manual therapy, myofascial release, mobilizations and light adjustments used to treat injuries, improve posture, relax and de-stress.
Osteopathic myofascial release focuses on releasing muscular and fascial shortness and tightness. Fascia is a connective tissue that connects everything in the body. This holistic treatment approach addresses the entire body to determine the cause of imbalances in the body that may be leading to pain, fatigue, postural faults, tension and changes in your appearance. By assessing and treating the body as a whole, not only will you feel better, you will also look better.
Osteopathic treatment is helpful for people with chronic pain, acute injuries, high levels of stress, poor posture, headaches, sciatica, carpal tunnel syndrome, rotator cuff injuries, back pain and a multitude of other conditions.
The treatment incorporates essential oil blends designed to address inflammation and tension. Essential oils are made up of very small molecules, which means they can easily bring their unique healing properties to every cell of the body. They are traditionally used to help ease muscular aches and pains, improve circulation and ease sinus congestion. They also have a positive effect on the skin, penetrating into the deeper layers to encourage the process of cellular renewal, enhance blood circulation.
